More fan art from the uber-talented Natasha Allegri. (Hey, you can work on the show and still be a fan, right?)

I have on my desk the Adventure Time Free Comic Book Day book with my BMO story in it and um it turned out SUPER NICE!!
It’ll be available in comics stores everywhere FOR FREE on May 5th, 2012! :0
OH MY GLOB!
Check it out, dudes and dudettes. Lee and I collaborated on this Adventure Time print. I think it’s some of the best work we’ve ever done.
And now you can own it! It’s available RIGHT NOW in the Adventuring Company store, or you can pick it up in person from us at one of the following conventions…

Hot to the Touch - Adventure Time Season 4 premiere Monday at 7:30 p.m.! My first episode partnered with Cole Sanchez!
Cole and Benton Connor used to be storyboard partners on Adventure Time way before I was a storyboarder. They had the office next to mine, and I would listen to them pitching Choose Goose jokes to each other for hours! It made me really want to do storyboards, so it felt like full circle when I was partnered with Cole for season 4!
Watch Rebecca and Cole’s work at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Monday night.
Animated gifs, how do I make you actually stay at 24fps no matter what browser you’re being seen through?!
Anyway, I was just experimenting with making digital paint look and feel more organic… Ruff still looks better. Human condition I guess. You can’t see the nuances in the paint quite as well without a background but I’ve been a little bit busy. Also, looping backgrounds were great timesavers at one point but after some experimenting a bit they seem a little bit tedious to digitally. CORRECT ME IF I’M WRONG. (Literally. Do it. Share your secrets with me).
Guests Announced for Emerald City Comicon
If you can tear yourself away from the Internet for a few moments at the end of next month and can be in the Seattle area, hoof it on over to the Washington State Convention Center for Emerald City Comicon 2012. It’s going to be a lovefest for Adventure Time #1, the show’s premiere comic put out by our friends at BOOM! Not only will Pen Ward be on hand, but the issue’s writer, Ryan North, and artists, Braden Lamb and Shelly Paroline, will be there, too. And if that isn’t making your head spin fast enough, you’ll also be able to get your mitts on that debut issue with an exclusive Comicon cover by Chris Samnee (above). Read more about BOOM!’s Comicon plans at Comics Alliance. To the Great Northwest!
100th Episode Recorded
Guess which cartoon series just celebrated the recording of its 100th episode? That’s right! Beverly Hills Teens. Here’s the cast and crew on Tuesday whooping it up over a chunky fruit platter. There was cake, also. Photos by Cartoon Network’s James Utt.
Congratulations to everyone, one and all.
Game Notes
Not that there’s an Adventure Time video game in the works (*cough*), but here are Pen Ward’s game notes after a brainstorming session with Pat McHale. Too bad we don’t know if there is, in fact, an Adventure Time video game in the works (*cough, cough*). Via Pen’s Twitter.
Emmy C. posted a stereoscopic GIF earlier today, and I thought I’d take a shot at it since it looked really cool.
Well, it turned out a lot harder than it looked, and I stopped, and saved it as a flat image instead. The original test GIF and colour test images are included there, too, from before I started flailing my arms frantically in the air for an hour.

Awesome fan-made movie poster of the day: Danger Mouse
While I’m sure Hollywood would screw it up, oh how much I’ve love to see a Danger Mouse movie.
