I was approached by BOOM! earlier this year to do a graphic novel featuring Fionna and Cake from Adventure Time. For various reasons the project fell through (and now Natasha Allegri’s SUPER RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME Fionna and Cake comic is out!!) but here were some of the test pages.

Latest episode of adventure time; did anyone else notice this? Either~
A. the animators were lazy & simply recycled the background without removing the crown when Marceline went to check on the bomb.
OR
B. There is significance to the crown still being there. Not likely, but there IS a bone missing. Why would a bone be missing in a later shot, and not the crown? In any other situation, I would dismiss this, but since there were time/space shenanigans happening…Iii think they were just being lazy
I noticed it the first time, asretyuhgcbncfvn how can you be that lazy? … wait a minute, when she was running to the cave, she didn’t have her hat…???

Hot to the Touch - Adventure Time Season 4 premiere Monday at 7:30 p.m.! My first episode partnered with Cole Sanchez!
Cole and Benton Connor used to be storyboard partners on Adventure Time way before I was a storyboarder. They had the office next to mine, and I would listen to them pitching Choose Goose jokes to each other for hours! It made me really want to do storyboards, so it felt like full circle when I was partnered with Cole for season 4!
